Granted, I've been to Starbucks maybe four times in my life, at least this is something you can do to pass 5 minutes of your boring day.

Here are photos from the tournament itself. The referee is James Bailey, manager of CSz L.A. and our host. Our team consisted of myself, Tim, Monta and Jeff A. The theater we performed at was called The Ivar and was used in "Spider-Man 2". We had celebrity judges from "MAD T.V.", "Designing Women", and "Buffy The Vampire Slayer". It was an amazing experience and, despite coming in 3rd place for the second consecutive year, we wouldn't have changed a thing.

We'll hopefully see everyone back next year in San Jose.

Here, as promised, are some of the photos from the 2005 ComedySportz World Championships.

These are mainly from our trip to Universal Studios, Hollywood. Tim is being devoured by Jaws and Back to the Future: The Ride was the nostalgic happening I so hoped it would be. Mann's Chinese Theatre is here too, which was directly across the street from our hotel.

Green (Day) with envy

So I get a phone call from a friend of mine and, long story short, I was about 11th row for Green Day's American Idiot tour last night at The Mark. It was AWESOME! I was in just about the exact same spot when they were here last time in 1995 and I said then that they were one of the best bands I've ever seen live - and I can happily state that that is still very much the case.
